Portable Ground Station for Satellite QKD

QCGS-S280 is a portable satellite ground station product developed by the QuantumCTek Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “QuantumCTek”) used for satellite-to-ground communication, to realize quantum key distribution with quantum satellites, key relay and data transfer.

The portable satellite ground station is a core equipment for satellite-to-ground quantum key distribution, but also it is an indispensable and important component of the future space-ground integrated wide-area quantum communication network. It has the advantages of light weight, small volume and rapid deployment.

The portable satellite ground station consists of an optical tracking system and an integrated control system. The optical tracking system is mainly composed of an optical telescope, a optical module and a direct-drive mount; the integrated control system is mainly composed of an optical control unit, a key extraction unit and a mount control unit. These two systems cooperate to fulfil the mission of pointing, acquiring, tracking the quantum satellites, receiving quantum signal and extracting quantum keys in real time.
